The navigation for the webcomic on the TNT page could be better.
But anyway, very interesting there. There seems to be an implication that the mechs are remote controlled. And we're looking at a time period of just after the attack (three weeks). Given the info there was on the journal I wonder how long the alien motherships were around before the hostilities started.

Let's all meet Karen, Weaver and Lourdes! ;D Weaver seems like a nice guy... not I find the comic getting more and more interesting. The question of how old someone has to be to hold a weapon is already addressed (briefly). And they are going to document the fight (with little reporter Matt), Tom is holding a journal. I guess this will be addressed again later... And did I miss something, or didn't they mention when/how Ben was captured? And what? The guy who won the walk-on role at San Diego Comic Con also gets to have his name and face in the comic book?

Envy, Envy!!!! ;D Yep, they didn't mention it but I think It could have been explained in the NY comic con comic book.... Indeed. And seeing that Tom seems a friendly and nice man who was forced to be also "strong" and tough I suppose we need someone who doesn't need to be "forced" to be those things ;D I also found interesting that the comic explain that survivors don't know if aliens know english but think that they din't care at all about what they're trying to do....

I'll agree, taking them a little bit to introduce everyone. I figure that's something they want to do before the show starts. I'll actually fuss at this part, at least how they drew it. It would have been much better if there had been an adult in the panel teaching the youngsters. What they showed was more a bunch of youngsters showing off and playing with firearms. Or at least that's how it appeared to me. Excellent idea there, though you'd thing that someone would have come up with a 35mm camera or two for use. ;D That was shown, sort of, in the free publicity comic. I wonder how much they could have made if they had auctioned off several of those roles for charity? Trying not to be jealous and wishing him luck. And something that seemed odd to me, but in the last panel on page 2, does Tom look really po'ed to anyone else?

That's true, the kids look like they are just having fun... and that there's going to be an accident soon . Lol! ;D I guess they keep that for later ... That first thing was probably just to create some excitement at Comic Con in San Diego. I guess the purpose was to show him sad/angered upon hearing about someone having lost their family, but the result is that he looks just plain scary to me! Also I hadn't noticed at first, on the panel above "scary Tom" on page 2, in the background you can see Karen pushing away the kids who were apparently getting too close to her motorcycle ;D

Yeah, he looks like he's about to murder someone. That's right! I didn't notice that, either! ;D I'm sure they'll deal with the subjects of the children and the guns extensively in the show. I'm going to take the comic much, much more lightly since it's obviously just an introduction and a way to set the tone ( ) but I'm sure there'll be more than a casual remark devoted to it in the show. Also can I just say again how sweet I'm finding the documentation/camera idea? in the middle of an ongoing war, taking pictures and documenting everything is really something that only a child psychologist or a historian would come up with. And the way that Tom's making the choice to let his son shoot a camera instead of a gun is quite telling, too.

Yay! ;D Lol! at "There! See? They are trying to kill us"... Happy, now? Interesting that Hal prefers his little brother to think mechs want to kill them rather than take them...
