Wow this is so thrilling - can`t wait another week for it to watch....Weaver seem to be in trouble and the Aliens want to negotiate - no way Tom`s gonna do this, not after what they did to Ben...But the sentence: You don`t believe how it ends...make me cry, this gonna be giant Cliffhanger and one year to wait for it....*sniff*

Oh I know. Its going to be one big cliffhanger. I most certainly cannot wait to see what happens. I wish it was longer than 10 episodes though |

Now. Im currently wondering what will happen to Tom. I sure hope nothing bad happens to him. I know he will sacrifice himself to save his son, Ben and the other sons. But I sure hope he comes back. I wana see his butt hugging the son all happy.
Will they explain the reason for occupying the planet??
Will the aliens have a way to reverse the process and save the harnessed kids??

Loved the episode. Except the part where we get no new ones till summer 2012. Can't wait until then.

Maybe I am speculating a bit to much, but we actually don`t see Tom entering the ship..they cut of before we see it, so something could have changed his mind or Weaver is doing something...i just can`t imagine how they get Tom out of that...but i perfectly understand why the Aliens choose Tom and not another of the Resistance...i would have done the same - he is connected with a harness kid, a strong leader and before he was a normal citizen...I believe if they choose Weaver he had shoot first ask questions later or not..I am really interested what the others would do if they find out about Tom and the fact that Weaver just let him go...

Well im sure they will understand weaver let him go since weaver will die if he shot at them since the ship has a nuclear armanants. As well as the sons will be extremely pissed to the point of the possibility of them going in search of tom or threatening weaver

I also could see Pope being pissed because of Weaver letting Tom negotiate with the aliens rather than killing them.

The very nice thing with that finale scene is that it has a lot of potential about where they can start back ;D. I really can't imagine how they can do it actually, so... anything can be surprising. I would however find it quite lame if Tom didn't actually get aboard the ship. I'm not sure I want to see what's going on inside of it though, that would kill a lot of mystery about the aliens. I imagine that I would prefer it shown only through Tom and how he will relate to it afterwards (because we don't imagine for a second that something bad will happen to him, right? :  . After all, he is a historian. He can write down what he witnesses...  I imagine he followed Karen not only because he was thinking of Ben, but also out of plain curiosity. He is given a huge "historical" opportunity to be the first human to board an alien spaceship. How could he, as a historian, really say no? Jessy Schram did really great as harnessed Karen. Very creepy, but also with still some warmth... I can imagine how Tom can sort of trust her still. I'm not quite sure what it means that harnessed kids know the names of people they are talking to. Is it the human kid in them who knows it still? or as Weaver was suspecting, do the aliens have a way to read humans' minds? |
