Maybe I should have written "Talk with Noah"..... He is doing a monologue here but I can't say she's doing something to interrupt him! That could be the hundredth interview they're doing (the room is almost empty). It's seems that she's even more silent and he's even more loquacious (but tired!). Guys, work on this ;D

It seems like basically her job is to sit there looking pretty and nod along... I wonder if it's because she isn't getting a CHANCE to speak, or because she has nothing to say. Thank you for the videos Raffy! He's really just repeating everything we've already heard. I like that he says that the long wait has given him time to think about the character and afforded him an opportunity to see where he develops in further scripts and play him "smartly". Now if we could only get a damn trailer...

Mmm, I think she's "able" to talk- But this time she didn't get a CHANCE! Maybe it would have been better ask her "directly" something. I've really enough of roundtables!

I can't watch right now, but from the first interview we got, she really looked like she doesn't like that part of the job so well, she looks shy, and not speaking loud ... And Noah is such a good speaker, if I were in her shoes, shy and sitting close to the best speaker I know, I would let him do all the job and just smiles and nods! ;D Oh oh... reminds me of the interviews around the time of the finale of ER

I supposed it was that which made him look exhausted and her look bored to death

I could finally watch the latest videos ;D... I actually find that Noah gives out a lot of the plot! ... really detailed about how the invasion takes place... I wonder if he was officially "allowed" to say so much... Huh, is it just me or are part1 and part2 the exact same file? (it's cut short at the end of the part1.. where is the rest of the interview? )

Maybe it was a little too much, but after this military silence, I'd say they owe us as much. I'm not sure what was actually said in the main panel, and of course we have no way of knowing how much they were originally allowed to divulge... but maybe it just seems like a lot of information because so far everything has been so top secret. Yep, it's a glitch...

MMM....I really don't like it! For two damn negative reviews? Falling Skies I really liked the footage we saw from this Steven Spielberg-produced series, and I'm excited for any show that has the guts to show us a post-apocalyptic world, starting six months after an alien invasion. So if it were up to me, this show wouldn't be in the "losers" category. But we heard people shaking their heads over this show, for whatever reason, maybe because of the footage's reliance on a child voiceover and the slightly cliched nature of the alien-invasion scenario. Slashfilm was particularly damning, saying the footage failed to impress, and it felt like a standard TV series rather than a Spielberg project. The best IGN could say was, "We don't think the show is dead on arrival." But others — including me — gave it a more positive review and seemed pumped about it. So I'm grudgingly putting Falling Skies in the "loser" category because of some negative buzz, despite my own sincere liking for it. Another review. What We Learned About the Mysterious New Show “Falling Skies” at SDCC TNT brought only one show to Comic-Con but whether you realized what it was or not, it had a big presence. Though many attendees might find it’s viral “2nd Mass” more recognizable, Falling Skies invaded the con and we got a first hand look at the viral, the stars, and the first footage from the series. Read on for what went down. Viral:Revolving around a group of human resistance fighters, the show named this group “2nd Mass” and has been promoting it in weird ways. In addition to the mangled Flip Cam that was sent to me before the con, signs and handouts for 2nd Mass surrounded the convention center on the Thursday and Friday leading up to the panel. The most interesting part of this marketing was the people dressed as homeless men on the streets around the Gaslamp. They held up 2nd Mass signs, had tattoos on their face with the logo, and truly made the viral feel realistic and interesting. All of these advertisements included QR codes that when scanned with a camera phone would bring you to the 2nd Mass site. This site would give you details on the panel, but more on that later. Overall, the viral helped peak people’s interest in a year when alien invasion themes were everywhere at Comic-Con. Interviews:Before the panel, SDCC Blog was able to join other websites to interview the cast and creative team behind Falling Skies. We found out a lot of new info on the series and what we should expect. I included the most interesting points from both interviews below. Cast-The audience and characters are both in the dark about how the invasion began. They will both discover new information as the series continues. Ethical issues such as kids in combat will be raised. The relationship between Noah Wyle’s character and his son is very important and central to the plot. The characters are still discovering each others personalities in the first few episodes. Combat with the aliens will get up-close and personal. Creative Team- The series does have dark themes but a main focus is hope. The family element to the series is very important. The show is very character focused but still contains action in each episode. Since the resistance fighters are normal civilians, they will behave more like average people and less like the military. Each episode will focus on a mission or battle while still developing the mythology of the show. Panel: Finally there was a panel for the show where the first trailer was unveiled. Much of the trailer focused on a little girl talking about and drawing descriptions of the alien ships that invaded her home. We also see shots of the resistance team as they avoid and then finally fight the invading forces. Cuts were quick so it didn’t include a clear view of the aliens but they appeared to be large, mobile, and arriving from ships. Combat looked frenetic but also sometimes avoidable as much of the action included people running away. The trailer was brief so it was hard to judge quality but a War of the Worlds influence was easily felt, as was the human element described in the interviews. Finally, the cast and creative team discussed the show and mentioned how Moon Bloodgood’s character is much less of a fighter at the beginning of the show and slowly grows into it. Wyle’s character is in more a leader role and takes this very seriously but both actors hinted that a relationship between to the two is a very likely occurrence. All three of these things definitely made me more interested in Falling Skies then I had been previously. Unfortunately the show doesn’t premiere until Summer 2011 so fans will have to wait a while before they can see the series on TNT. sdccblog.com/what-we-learned-about-the-mysterious-new-show-falling-skies-at-sdcc/1192/

The thing about reviews is that they're mostly opinions, and we don't have to agree with them. I'm excited and I think the show has potential, who cares if two or three or fifteen people were "unimpressed"? If I lived my life according to what most peple think, I probably wouldn't be here anyway. And then we have some really great reviews, too. I guess it depends on what exactly you expected this show to be. And those claiming that it's the new Lost or a V. or War Of The Worlds ripoff or something else entirely, how can you really TELL from a few minutes of footage? Everything that we've heard so far doesn't sound like any sort of ripoff, and that's enough for me. There's no point in categorizing the show a winner or a loser before it even airs. It's just the same as saying, in 1994- "well this ER sounds like a rip off from any number of medical dramas, it must be a loser". ... a creepy but creative way to spread the message.

I don't care about the losers list or whatever Slashfilm say about it. I can read and listen and I liked what I read and listened. Like you said, Anna, nothing sounded like a rip-off or a clichè. What I don't like it's she puted it in the nonsense buzz losers list (WTF means?) not because she thinks so but because a couple of......guys weren't impressed like her.....hey, girl, if you have your opinion don't give up on it so easily if others don't agree with you Nonsense? I'm sure thye'll do something creepy in Chicago too

I agree with you there. *sigh*
Wait... why Chicago?

And that's quite what happened ... ER didn't get on air so easily... I'm sure I'm thick (or in need of more coffee...), but what's with Chicago?

LOL. No Chicago. New York!!! ;D
During New York Comic Con (Oct. 8-10), TNT and Dark Horse will distribute an exclusive, special-edition 12-14 page comic book that tells the harrowing backstory of the alien invasion. Beginning Nov. 1, fans will be able to download an extended webcomic version through tnt.tv, darkhorse.com and iTunes, with new installments posted every two weeks.
