The news of the upcoming series is to find all over the world ;D... and I saw more than one French blog or magazine mentioning Falling Skies already, and that one made me laugh... Sadly, US doesn't know Nutella so well and I guess that won't be on their priority list ...

I retwitted it ;D I concur! If you have to die with Nutella you're going to die happy at least!

New something? Can't it be just something of new? Well, let's hope it will be good at least. ;D Falling SkiesIn what is more likely to out-Event The Event and become the new Lost, the new Steven Spielberg-produced TNT series Falling Skies is about what happens after aliens attack Earth – humans fight aliens, and each other. If you don’t think it sounds at all like Lost, I’m just basing that on the idea that it stars Noah Wylie, the original Matthew Fox, and is produced by Steven Spielberg, the original J.J. Abrams. The trailer was debuted at Comic-Con, and Vulture reports some similarities to another Spielberg number: “The show also seems to be borrowing from War of the Worlds‘ high-tech feel for its alien race. The trailer featured slick, silver spacecrafts, though they weren’t as big as the ones inWorlds. The aliens themselves appear to be more technical than creature, as well: No green creatures with oval-shaped heads and big eyes here. The large, almost robot-like figures had laser beams coming out of their eyes, making them look like something out of Battlestar Galactica or Terminator. And an alien invasion series wouldn’t be complete without some devastation, so a downtown metropolis bites the dust in a fiery explosion. Hell yeah! I could live off Nutella alone for years. How dare they?! But I love how we're getting some very excited reviews. Lets hope this level of excitement keeps up.

Mark Verheiden post! More Greetings From More Toronto After a brief sojourn to San Diego to discuss our new show Falling Skies, I'm back in lovely Toronto as shooting continues at a lightning pace. Last night involved multiple pyrotechnics and a cast of many, with director Greg Beeman ably choreographing the mayhem. But when stuff isn't getting blowed-up real good, we're doing some wonderful character work, courtesy of our great cast. In other words, so far so good! I did want to clear up one misconception that arose from a comment I made during our San Diego panel. As much as I love Bruce Springsteen, my reference to him as a survivor of our alien attack was what we in the entertainment business call "a joke." There are no Bruce cameos planned, sadly, though I still contend he'd kick alien ass in the event of a real invasion... ;D verheiden.blogspot.com/2010/07/more-greetings-from-more-toronto.html

LOL! Oh yeah, we so totally didn't get that! I searched what Greg Beeman (director) did before: among others, 4 episodes of Melrose Place, 12 of Heroes, 17 of Smallville...

Well, if you consider there are people who can't take acount of words if they don't see "fireworks" around...I suppose it's better to make clear it was a joke Well, besides Melrose Place , he did a lot of sci-fi. He also has a blog: gregbeeman.blogspot.com/
