Sooooo envious!!! A girl is watching the pilot right now! I contacted her on twitter to know if she's liking it.... 30 mins in, am loving it. Not a lot of alien action so far but I guess they're building the character arcs first.
an amazing opening episode, v poignant. Noah Wiley is great casting. Can't w8 4 next episode now but they're not ready Falling Skies is going to be awesome, first episode was really, really good. So it means she's going the see the other ones before us!!!

Oooh, she could be a wonderful source for spoilers! (but I'm not going to read the spoilers. I mean it this time. ) sionewig, great catch!. Apparently the bidding for that comic book has ended by now. I don't see another comic book there, just posters... *sigh* oh well, I'm I'll get my hands on it one day.

Well, considering how long we've been waiting, and how long the suspense has been building up, I'm guessing by the time the show actually airs, anything short of a masterpiece would be disappointing to me... Lucky for them, I'm not the average viewer. But let's hope they keep it interesting and get the viewers to pull this show off. I'm worried since sci-fi shows usually don't do too well in the ratings, but there have been some exceptions, and I want this to work out so, so bad.

Oooh, she could be a wonderful source for spoilers! (but I'm not going to read the spoilers. I mean it this time. ) The folks that get to watch those very early preview episodes usually have to agree to fairly stout non-disclosures. Often they also get paid to watch. I wonder if the studio knows that there are a number of people who would PAY to preview for them. Darksparrow, It's been relisted, still for the same buy now price (only a buck more than the minimum bid). cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310270628514&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNARL:US:1123I hope someone here snags it fast.

*sigh* yeah, I guess I knew that. Well, it's better to avoid spoilers anyway. Makes it more interesting. Yes, I AM trying to convince myself. Ugh. Thanks, sionewig! ;D I 'bought' the comic book, but since the seller didn't enter any shipping options outside the US, it's not letting me complete the purchase. I sent him an email asking how much the shipping would cost- unfortunately in cases like this, the shipping is usually twice or three times as much as the item itself... Still, I'm waiting for his reply... ETA: BOUGHT IT! The total including shipping is $9.4, which isn't as bad as I had feared. Sure, it's a lot for a 10 page comic book. And being a student, money is measured in coffee units, so $9.4 is like 5 cups of coffee! But... I guess I'm okay with missing out on some coffee for such a good reason.

Congrats Anna! ;D $9.40 with shipping is not so bad... I hope 2 pages of the comic book can keep you awake as good as (or better than) a cup of coffee

$9.40 including shipping to Israel is excellent. And it's better than you know because the comic has 12 pages of story.
I got mine this morning and read through it immediately. Guess I need to do a full review over in the Spoilers section.
Basic non spoiler review - 12 pages of story, good artwork like we have seen samples of (see the board header), we get some possible artists conception views of the skitters, their mechs, and the spinal harnesses. No real new information is revealed but that's ok. They have to keep most of it for the actual show itself. We get to see Tom and his three boys as well as Anna Glass. Overall it's a nice little comic, not necessary to watch and enjoy the show, but a fun extra. If you can get one for a reasonable price, I think it's worth it.

Thanks guys! Actually it's already paying off- just the thought of owning that comic book makes me happier than coffee ever could. ;D See, that makes me even happier! I'm glad to hear that! Thanks about the review, sionewig! That would be great! (... but I won't go into the spoiler section.)
