While scouting for supplies, Tom, Hal and their squad encounter a gang of marauders determined to get their hands on the 2nd Massachusetts’ weapons. Leading the gang is an ex-con named John Pope, who decides to use his hostages as bargaining material.

I have to say I enjoyed the second episode a lot more than the first. It was more action packed and I enjoyed the standoff between the second massachusetts and the rebels. I was shocked when Margaret switched forces, but I'm glad she did!

I often can't stand the suspense LOL. But it was still pretty good. I'm still anxious for the attempt to rescue the kid.

Watching it earlier today (trying to kill time before the next one airs) I noticed something painted in the dust on that van's window---



I can't decide whether it's something they WANTED in the scene or just stuff someone drew on the car while waiting between takes.

Stuff like that make me think that they must have had a blast on that set... Kids in camp running around playing shoot-the-aliens, I can't blame them.

On a sidenote, though, I love that they had the cars covered with a thick layer of dust, and most of the cars seem to have been broken into and picked clean, as you'd expect after six months. Nice thinking.
