Right now we don't know if Adam Butcher is a regular cast member or if he just has a recurring role so I'll keep posting news about him and other actors there. Dog Pound (Adam Butcher's movie) is going to be released in the UK on 27th August. From Screengeek Inspired in part by Scum, and following on from the likes of A Prophet, this French-Canadian drama stands out because of its incredibly natural young cast. Set in a juvenile prison, we follow the fate of Davis (Shane Kippel), Angel (Mateo Morales) and Butch (Adam Butcher), the latter quite astonishing. The futile violence in Kim Chapiron's film is unflinching, but you find yourself empathising with these three young offenders. A harsh look at a corrupt, useless system that fails vulnerable youths, Dog Pound is unmissable. Watch the trailer here: www.screengeek.co.uk/trailers/article/dog-pound

Interview with Dale DyeDale Dye is currently playing the role of Porter in TNT’s new show “Falling Skies”. Dale is also co-starring in this summer’s “Larry Crowne”, directed by Tom Hanks. If you have seen a movie in the war genre, it is most likely that he has worked on the film as the Military Technical Advisor. He supervised such films as “Platoon” to “Saving Private Ryan”. Movie Mikes had a chance to chat with Dale about “Falling Skies” and working in the business. More here

Interview with Bruce Gray ( Uncle Scott) Bruce Gray knows the benefit of a few good lines ebra Yeo Toronto Star Canadian actor Bruce Gray has certainly paid his dues. He starred in the award-winning series Traders, played the uptight father of the groom in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, has done guest spots on countless TV shows and had recurring roles on Queer as Folk and Medium. It’s not like he has to take any old job that comes along. But he’s awfully glad he interrupted his cottage vacation a couple of summers ago to audition for what looked to be a tiny part in a new TV series. The show turned out to be Falling Skies, the Steven Spielberg-produced drama about the aftermath of an alien invasion that debuts on Super Channel on Wednesday.
